District Wharf location opens for 2024 DC kayaking season

District Wharf Boathouse is now open for the 2024 DC Kayaking season, Friday – Sunday until May 28, then daily.

Operated by Boating in DC, the Wharf Boathouse offers kayaks and paddleboards on Washington Channel. The boundaries are between the Francis Case Bridge and the buoys down by the Army War College.

The Wharf Jitney is also open between East Potomac Park and the Recreation Pier Friday – Sunday, 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.

The next area location to open is Bladensburg Waterfront Park on Monday, April 1. It’ll be open daily.

On Friday, April 5 20, another Boating in DC location, Thompson Boatcenter opens up.
