Kayakers have the Potomac, Anacostia, Patuxent rivers as well tributaries close to the Chesapeke Bay. Montgomery County lakes offer gentler waters for those not yet interested for the open tidal waters of Prince George’s, Charles, and Anne Arundel counties.
