It looks like Friday may be the day that Penn State officially announces that it will compete in hockey at the Division-I level. Slow States has a strong roundup of reaction in the college hockey community. I don’t know that the Nittany Lions will combine with other Big Ten schools to form a hockey conference just yet and that is probably good news as the program builds itself.
