GM Jim Bowden made his annual Mike Stanton trade yesterday. In return Washington gets Giants prospect Shairon Martis. Yes, THE Shairon Martis. He pitched a seven-inning one hitter for The Netherlands in the World Baseball Classic and currently has a 6-4 record with a 3.15 ERA for class-A Augusta.

Look for Stanton to be resigned in the offseason.
