Penn State’s football schedule through 2014 has been released, according to The Morning Call’s Nittany Lines blog. I have updated my Penn State Schedules page accordingly. Some notes of interest:

• Michigan returns to the schedule in 2013
• There will be two bye weeks starting in 2013
• Penn State has a bye week before the 2012 Iowa, 2013 Indiana game and the 2014 Nebraska game which is the only game time that the Nittany Lions and Cornhuskers meet in October — otherwise they play in November.
• Penn State has bye weeks before the Ohio State games in 2013 and 2014
• Wisconsin is the final game of the regular season 2011-2015, so I guess they are our big rival now. I don’t object to this development.
• The Land Grant Trophy will not be played for until after 2014 — Penn State and Michigan State are not officially scheduled yet.
• The non-conference schedule is only set through 2012, but now that the conference schedule is set, I expect that some non-cons will be added soon.
