The Nats dropped an ugly one in the Mile High City. They made 2 errors and gave up 10 runs. There was a rain delay too. By the way, I expect the first MASN game available to me to go down like this one.

Exactly one year after he was called up to the majors, Ryan Zimmerman leads NL rookies in five different offensive categories and is the secnod best fielder at the hot corner. Will he win Rookie of the Year? Probably not methinks, but that’s okay, Nats fans don’t need the endorsement of others to appreciate what we have in Zimmerman.
Robinson closing in on farewell? – The Wash. Times
With the writing on the wall that he is not going to be rehired Frank Robinson is lobbying for a sendoff. In all of his 51 years in baseball, there has never been a Frank Robinson Day and this is his last chance. He’s earned it, if only for putting up with all the nonsense of this franchise. I had hoped he would outlast Jim Bowden simply because Robinson is a better man than Bowden. The likelihood of that happening seems quite slim.
Kearns Sits for 2nd Straight Game With Groin Injury – The Post
RF Austin Kearns has missed two games with a groin injury, but may be back today. Also, Chad Cordero won the Nationals’ Roberto Clemente Award.
