This is not a good way to start the week. My internet connectivity has once again been COMCAST-ED. Our dream of MLB coming to the District is in serious jeopardy, thanks to Linda Cropp, who wants to move the ballpark site. She says she does not think she has the votes (The Post), but neither does the mayor, which means a stalemate and the plan may not get approved by Dec. 31. Agonizing! Michael Wilbon called her a fraud (Amen!), but what difference does it make? Also, the less said about Saturday’s Penn State game the better, other than it was good to see everybody. Lastly, I turned on the radio to listen to the Stillers vs. Iggles game so I could hear Myron Cope, but we turned it on, but he was not there! Apparently, he left at halftime with a head injury (Post-Gazette). All in all, just big reminder of why too much sports can be a very bad thing.
