Beano Cook: I think penn St. is a dark horse next year, I agree. They play Michigan. and Michigan will be the favorite at Michigan. But OSU is at Penn St. Their offense needs to improve, because if it dosen’t they will finish third or fourth.

I can’t find any disagreement with Beano here which is kind of a scary prospect, but what is the opposite of darkhorse? The opposite of what Beano say usuually comes true. Does that mean Penn State will be ranked #1 again in preseason?

Adam, PA: Beano, do you see Dan Connor filling Posluszny’s void at Penn State next year?

Beano Cook: I think he is good. To say he will be as good I don’t know. Penn St. is going to be good. But everything depends on the QB.

No, everything depends on the offensive line. If you have a good offensive line, you have a good QB. Or RB.
