ONLY 30 DAYS UNTIL KICKOFF
Majority of coaches in favor of Big Ten’s replay system – CDT
Replay is going to happen in the Big11Ten. I will bet that the first reviewed play goes against Penn State, just watch. there is more from The Collegian and the Post-Gazette, plus the Inqy too. Also see the latest installment of Ask Heather, Q & A with the Lions beat writer, Heather Dinich, plus Big Ten notes.
Paterno certain he’s still got it – The Collegian
More coverage from the Big11Ten Kickoff Luncheon. Paterno said the death of his brother set him back a year and that Zack Mills and Michael Robinson are both going to play a lot of football. Do not be surprised if the QB merry-go-round continues.
D.C. BASEBALL NEWS, SORTA
D.C. commission turns itself around – The Wash. Times
The operator of RFK Stadium says that they will probably make money this year. Hopefully, next year they will make a lot of money with 81 extra events.
Peter Schmuck – Having nothing better to do, ESPN decides to make sport of Baltimore – The Sun
Isn’t this the same Schmuck who was telling us that D.C.’s numbers do not add up in June. I think he has nothing better to do than be an apologist for Peter Angelo$.
VOTE FOR CHANGE COMING TO BJC
Politics to bring Dave Matthews to PSU’s Jordan Center – CDT
Whether you agree the concept or not, it is pretty cool that the “Vote for Change” concert series includes Happy Valley. It will be interesting to see what kind of crowd they get, since Central Pennsylvania is probably not particulary in favor of “change” in November, but then again, DMB is (or at least was) the most popular band on so many campuses.
QUOTE OF THE DAY
Thursday, I could never get the hang of Thursdays.
