According to a thread in Chris Creamer’s Sportslogos.net forums the NHL will be returning to home whites next season. Take the information with a grain of salt since it comes from a message board of course.

This would be an improvement (aside from the awful, form fitting Reebok jerseys of course) over the current arrangement. An even better idea I saw in the thread was to go the route of European football and the Original Six era and go to primary and secondary jerseys. The only time a team would wear white is when the road team’s primary is a similar color to the home team’s primary. That’d be sweet. I am very curious to see what kind of red, white, and blue sweater the Capitals come up with next year.>
