Browser browbeating

I am pleased to see that 35% of recently sampled WWN visitors are using Firefox/Mozilla as their browser. While that is a good number the vast majority of visitors are still using assorted versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer. Why? Firefox has better security than IE, features are always a generation ahead and the Web is displayed correctly. Trust me, being stuck late at work on a Friday debugging a page because IE wants to display things differently than every other browser is really frustrating.

Firefox has many wonderful add-ons that improve the Web experience. The most important is the Web Developer Extension an extension that increased my productivity considerably. I am also partial to Spiderzilla, ScreenGrab! and several others that I don’t even think of being extensions anymore.

Also, at the very least, you can stick it to Bill Gates by using Firefox.
