Last night, I stopped by the D.C. Sports Bloggers Happy Hour at Rhino in Georgetown. I had a good time meeting JammingEcono of Banks of the Anacostia, Tortcaesar’s old friend Dan Steinberg of D.C. Sports Bog, the ComcastSportsNet folks and several other guys named Mike or Matt. I’d probably remember everybody’s name if we had all been smart like MissChatter and remembered our calling cards. I am sure some stereotype about blogging can be applied to this predicament.

I had a good time talking shop with Steinberg, hearing about MissChatter’s time in Vierra, seeing Gustafsson of On Frozen Blog again and meeting some other kindred spirits. Also, avoided spending a single ¢ at Rhino. You may recall they lost my business back in ’05 because of a stupid bartender (some scrolling required, memory may be too painful for those of the Nittany persuasion).
