Nats shutout by old Expos farmhand

SAN DIEGO 3 Washington 1 (ESPN Boxscore)

Chris Young was once in the Expos farm system, but he was traded away (for a microphone, I think) when MLB owned the team. Last night, Young shut out the Nationals for 8 innings before giving way to Trevor Hoffman, who recorded the save. Shawn Hill, a roommate of Young in the minors, gave up three runs over 6 1/3 innings. I hope you didn’t stay up late for it.
