2B Felipe Lopez had six RBI last night, including the game winning grand slam off of Jon Coutlangus in the eighth, to tie the series with the Reds, his former team. He says that they are just another opponnet though. ESPN named him “Top Performer” for his 3 for 5 6 RBI game.
Matt Chico pitched 5 2/3 innings, giving up four runs. The bullpen held the Reds scorless for the last 3 1/2 innings. Jesus Colome picked up his fourth win with two innings of work. He leads the staff with 4 wins which makes me wonder if he is the next Lee Gutterman.
