Post-Lift for Life Lions news

Lift for Life was recently held at Holuba Hall, raising $75,000 for the Kidney Cancer Association (Patriot-News). In addition to being entirely organized by Penn State football players, the event always brings some attention to the upcoming season (Patriot-News). I like what I am hearing. Even grumpy ol’ Ron Bracken is a little bit excited (CDT).

An interview with Joe Paterno by Rich Scarcella ran in the Reading Eagle recently. It sounds like it took place a while ago though. Also, DB Spencer Ridenhour is transferring (Patriot-News) because of he doesn’t figure to get playing time which suggests that the embattled Anthony Scirrotto is not expected to miss much playing time.
