It’s beginning to look a like football

Every year there is that first morning that makes your think, “hey, it feels like football season.” For the second year in a row, that year came on the day I departed for my week down the Shore. Fritz even text’ed me that day saying the same thing.

This morning felt that way too. We are almost exactly five days away from kickoff and I’m in the mood and ready. I blasted the Blue Band on the way in, singing along (poorly) the whole time. Wiley might be on to something when he sings this is “the most wonderful time of the year.”

Two Saturdays ago, as we drove onto the Stone Harbor Blvd. drawbridge back to the Jersey mainland and away from vacation, a Blue Band CD went in and the countdown began.

I’m going to try to compile Nittany Lions headlines at lunch throughout the week. I’ll also see about getting some good videos up in the evenings too. Tomorrow, I’ll post a compliation of predictions from the Town & Gown Football Annual and Blue White Illustrated. Wednesday is Blue White Roundtable, Thursday is my game preview and some time this week I hope to have something extra special too.
