ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The first measurement of the morning shows an accumulation of 15½ inches on the grass. Unofficially, there is 17 inches on the picnic table.
The snow is fairly dry and powdery, so shoveling out a path from the front door wasn’t too taxing. The path was quickly covered by new snow though.
