There is No Name on my Jersey has this week’s questions.
Criminal allegations swirl around the squad; what impact will this have on the team? My own fall off of my high-horse-of-PSU’s-sterling-reputation has been terrible, have you experienced the same?
I don’t know what it will mean for the team, they didn’t seem bothered by last week’s distraction. The alleged road rage incident involving Joe Paterno is the most troubling.
If I was ever on a high horse about Penn State’s reputation I haven’t been in a long time, certainly not since the Meridian altercation, but probably since Curtis Enis went shopping.
Evan Royster provided Penn State with the Spark it needed to get going on Saturday, did he win himself the starting job? If not, how does your depth chart read at RB and why?
No, Royster hasn’t played enough to earn a starting job yet, but he deserves more carries and should get them. If he continues to play this well, he’ll get the bulk of the carries in November. Rodney Kinlaw looked pretty good last week too. Stephfon Green would be third on the chart, but hopefully won’ t be needed.
Anthony Morelli gets it done while looking both awful and excellent in the same game. What the hell is PSU supposed to do at QB?
Penn State is suppossed to develop quarterbacks who don’t get their biggest applause for throwing the ball out of bounds to avoid a sack.
Lightning Round
What games are you watching on Saturday?
Hopefully Penn State vs. Wisconsin. I have a family obligation that day, but maybe I’ll get to see the second half. I’ll be taping it too.
What are your predictions for the second half of the season?
Mediocrity will prevail.
Who will be PSU’s MVP come January?
Dan Connor
