Have you noticed the variable message signs at Gallery Place and Archives Metro stations do not list Yellow line trains headed to Virginia until they are about to arrive? The Green line to Branch Ave., which shares the same track, is listed up to 20 minutes in advance, but the Yellow trains to Huntington only appear on the sign with 2 or 3 minutes remaining. The northbound side does not have this problem, it is just headed southbound.

The last two times I rode Yellow back to Pentagon City I had to assure other riders on the platform that the Yellow train would actually be coming. I think this was a problem over the summer at L’Enfant too, but I have not transferred there since the last Nats game, so I can not remember for certain. Is this happening anywhere else in the system?
