Don’t count on skiing in 2020-2021 season

My skepticism for a Mid-Atlantic ski season keeps growing. While skiing itself is pretty safe, it’s getting from the bottom of the mountain that’s not.

Since those have been published, more restrictions have begun in a number of states, including Pennsylvania (Pennsylvania Ski Areas Association).

Skiing in-state may be the only option this winter.

DCSki just added COVID-19 information to resort profiles. Checking in with a ski area before purchasing a lift ticket and heading out is critical.

It’s probably worth noting that Ski Southeast’s proprietor comes off as believing COVID-19 is more of a political problem than a health one.
