WASHINGTON, D.C. — Lego fans whether they be children or adults have another exhibit to visit. Brick City at the National Building Museum displays dozens of famous buildings from across the world.

Visitors will take a world tour discovering new destinations across all seven continents that include: lively streetscapes from Cartagena, Colombia; Mardi Gras celebrations in New Orleans; intricate temples from India to Mexico; and imaginative castles from medieval Japan to modern Las Vegas.

There is also thousands if not millions of Lego brick to build with, including “a graffiti wall.”

The buildings are impressive, especially London’s St. Pancras Station.

I think 60 to 90 minutes is probably the typical duration for most kids.

Admission

The museum is open Thursday – Monday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Cost is $10 for adults, $7 for kids under 17 and adults over 60.

Other exhibits include the Play Work Build (another interactive kid friendly exhibit), 2023 Summer Block Party – Look Here, Alan Karchmer: The Architects’ Photographer (through August 13), Animals, Collected (through August 28), House & Home, A Better Way Home: The Housing Affordability Breakthrough Challenge (through October 16).

The National Building Museum is just across F Street NW from the Judiciary Square Metro station.
