It’s an extra special Leap Day – my friend Luigi de Guzman, also known as Ouij enters the Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions on February 29, 2024.
Tournament of Champions
Back in 2022, Ouij ran off five wins in a row before he lost on Jeopardy! (baby). Oooh. His appearance brought honor and excitement to the Natmosphere, Cambridge University, Catholic University of America, the Philippines, Flint Hill and Northern Virginia, especially Arlington.
“Here’s hoping that, like Mike Rizzo says, I play like the numbers on the back of the baseball card.”
– Ouij
In his return, he once again faces an opponent from the D.C. area – his originally defeated an Alexandria resident, but his final appearance included a loss to someone from Baltimore, like so many Nationals – Orioles tilts. Ugh. Can he defeat an opponent from Silver Spring? We’ll just have to see.
