Figueroa released – Chatter, The Wash. Times
Nelson Figueroa, the whiny Mets pitcher who tried to get everyone made about the Nats dugout instead of his own pitching, was released today. Obviously, this is very funny. However, it is also a shame because having a Girls Softball Night at Nationals Park when he pitched would have been great. I was really hoping it could happen. How funny would it have been if dozens of people asked him to autograph softballs during his next trip to Nationals Park. Alas, it seems as though that will not happen.
