Penn State’s offense has been firing on all cylinders, but this game is on the road, so I expect the coaching staff to play it a little closer to the vest. I expect a bit of a letdown overall, but Syracuse is just terrible. Let’s say 37-9, Nittany Lions.
I meant to mention in an earlier post that if I were going to this game, I would head over to Tipperary Hill. That Irish neighborhood is noted for having a traffic light with green-on-top, red-on-the-bottom. Back in the 1920s, Irish youths kept smashing the red lens because they resented English red over Irish green. There is a sculpture of an immigrant Irish family looking up at the light.
