¡LIVAN! goes yard, pitches eight innings; D.C. 5 – Queens 1
Hernandez Pitches, Slugs Nats to Victory – The Post
After a rough first inning, ¡LIVAN! pitched the next seven. He gave up one run in the opening inning, but he got it back by hitting a 2-out solo shot in the 5th. Two other Nats, Jose Guillen and Brian Schneider, hit solo shots.
The Nats scored five despite the top two spots in the order not getting hits. Nick Johnson’s returned from his bruised left thigh (The Wash. Times), but his hitting streak ended at 16 games. Brad Wilkerson did not get a hit either.

MASN makes debut on DirecTV – The Wash. Times
Direct TV picked up MASN and put it on channel 626. Dish owners can now see every Nats game this season. The Post has more too.

Oops — Eddie LeBaron’s name is spelled incorrectly on the Hall of Stars banner. The former Redskins QB took it well though.
