Although they are averaging 30,000 a game at RFK, the Nats are a little bit below average attendance-wise. Team president Tony Taveres is pleased, having set 2.43 million or 30,000 average, as a benchmark. Given the complete lack of marketing, it seems they are certain to have that, but nothing else. There is good news on that front — pocket schedules will be showing up at McDonald’s shortly, so at least some marketing is beginning. Could promotions be next?
