Russell Frank – Liberalism on college faculties is overrated – CDT
My former prof, Dr. Frank has an “inside baseball” column about the liberalism in the academy. His conclusion — chill out everyone, there is no political litmus test in hiring and tenure, at least in his experience. Futhermore:

“At most, academic liberals are offering their students a critique of the dominant ethos before they go in search of jobs in corporate America. If even that amount of politicking worries conservatives, they should be aware of what anyone who makes a living in the classroom knows all too well: Most of our students don’t listen to a word we say.”
