Larry Johnson, Sr. will remain defensive line coach for the Nittany Lions for the reasons cited above. According to the reports above, he did not ask or receieve a raise or a new title or position.
Johnson sticking around is crucial to the Nittany Lions success. He has developed a series of excellent defensive lineman as well as a strong rotation. He is also cherry-picking recruits from the greater Washington D.C. region. A departure to another Big11Ten program would have been devestating.
