Tomo Ohka pitched, which is hard enough and adding insult to injury (or maybe injury to injury) Jose Guillen got hit by on pitch on the left elbow and left the game. He is listed as day to day. The bullpen pitched well. Jose Vidro has been out too (The Post).

The braintrust thought Tony Armas, Jr., pitching between ¡LIVAN! and Esteban Loaiza, would be the key to the rotation and now we will get to see if they were right, at least until he gets hurt again. Also of note, the Nats starting rotation has a 3.74 ERA, which puts them at #5 in the majors.
