Three’s Company – The Post
Here’s a good line about fallen GM Jim Bowden:
A general manager is supposed to solve problems, not create them; be the adult, not the child; bring people together, not divide them; and focus his energy, not spew it.
That pretty much says it.
Boswell also says that neither Stan Kasten, Manny Acta or Mike Rizzo liked Bowden and are all on the same page. I am not positive of that but at least they are all professionals.
Why couldn’t Boswell been this hard on Bowden three years ago when things like “you are suppossed to run out of pitchers in September and October, not April” were said?
