Cornley powers PSU to first-round rout of Indiana – The Collegian
Penn State won its Big Ten Tournament opener against Indiana last night, 66-51 in Indianapolis. Jamelle Cornley was dominant and showed no ill-effects of his aggravated shoulder injury, suffered against Illinois. The Nittany Lions crushed the Hoosiers despite getting terrible second half play from the bench after the game was well in hand.
Given that Penn State was thought to be in by some prior to last night’s game, you can probably assume they still have an at-large NCAA tournament bid waiting for them.
They face Purdue in the second round of the tournament tonight at 9 p.m. on Big Ten Network.
