Will Shairon Martis make the Nats rotation?

Martis makes his caseThe Wash. Times
RHP Shairon Martis has had a pretty good spring:

In five appearances, he has posted a 1.69 ERA, allowing only nine hits and four walks in 16 innings.

This comes after he declined attending the World Baseball Classic (Netherlands) for a second time. If he earns the #5 spot, he may start off in Syracuse since the Nats will likely go with a four-man rotation for much of April.
