MARC FISHER: Future of Nats, Ballpark’s Neighborhood Up to Us – The Post
I do not understand the headline — how is it up to “us” that the neighborhood around Nationals Park succeeds? I want it to be full of bars, restaurants and other amenities like the Verizon Center’s environs. So, is all I have to do is say to builders — “hey, get finished with it already” and suddenly several places to get a bite at before the Home Opener just appear? Trust me, when I look at Monday’s forecast I really wish there was a place we could meet nearby before the game.
