Obama won’t throw Nats’ first pitch – The Wash. Times
We won’t have to worry about presidential security any more. Like him or not, having the president throw out the first pitch of the season is a great tradition and I disappointed Barrack Obama is not going to be there. No word on why he isn’t going to be there.
Here I was already to taunt a friend with photos of Obama throwing out the first pitch. He was at Camden Yards today to “root against the Yankees” and we were giving each other a hard time. A presidential opener would have escalated the taunting, no?
My suggestion for Opening Day — former mayor Anthony Williams.
Also, next year is the 100th anniversary of the custon, so no excuses Mr. President.
