Wild Game Winds Up As Another Nats Loss – The Post
Grand collapse for Nats – The Wash. Times
Another great night for the Nats offense ruined by the bullpen. Five home runs by the Nationals — Ryan Zimmerman (2), Elijah Dukes, Adam Dunn and Nick Johnson were not enough as the Phillies got grand slams from Ryan Howard (off of Shairon Martis in the 5th) and Raúl Ibáñez (off of Joel Hanrahan in the 8th).
When Harris Returns, It Won’t Be to the Infield – The Post
Nationals set to get Harris, Guzman back – The Wash. Times
Willie Harris is returning from the DL and will not be playing in the infield, making him the fifth outfielder. Also SS Cristian Guzman is due back and set by bat leadoff.
Good seats are still available – The Wash. Times
Attendance at Nationals Park is down 30% over last April.
I’m now 1-2 in the 4th annual Cheesesteak/Half-Smoke Challenge.
By the way, I predict at least one of the Redskins vs. Eagles games this year will not have as much scoring as last night’s game.
