Sparkling Debut For Nats’ Drese – The Post
The newest member of the rotation Ryan Drese pitched eight shutout innings. Chad Cordero then made it very interesting by loading the bases in the ninth with no outs, but pitched out of the jam and got his MLB leading 21st save. C Brian Schneider won the game with a solo shot in the sixth.
