Split decision for Chicago Tribune’s Silver Football Trophy – Chicago Tribune
Penn State QB Daryll Clark is a co-winner of the Tribune Silver Football trophy, awarded annually since 1924. Also winning the award is Michigan DE Brandon Graham. This is the first year that the Silver Football has been a tie. The voting comes from the 11 Big Ten coaches. Both Clark and Graham had three first place votes and one second place vote.
