Yesterday, I got an email from the Washington Nationals offering me a chance at becoming a citizen of NatsTown for $19.95. My first reaction was “why, I’ve followed the team since before there was one” if that makes sense.
Here is the offer:
- 1 Ballpark Tour Ticket for Nationals Park
- 10% off at Nationals Park Majestic Team Store
– one time use voucher - 10% off entire purchase in nationals.com online shop
– one time use coupon code - Members only $20 ticket + 1 drink offer
for 2 Thursday games (7/8 and 8/26) - Special offers
(extra 10-20% off E-Saver ticket promotions) - Exclusive online sweepstakes for autographed items
& other great experiences - Complimentary next-generation Gameday and audio subscription
Now that I look through it, it is actually a decent deal with the Gameday audio included, but I already bought it for this season. Had I not, I’d go for this even though the ballpark tour and $20 tickets for 2 games are really just attempts to get you to bring someone else and pay full price. I’m not saying its bad, but I see through it.
