The Washington Nationals starting pitching has been going to extremes lately. Saturday was a feast with Liván Hernández going the distance with a shutout. Last night against the Colorado Rockies Scott Olsen came up in the rotation and got a mere 6 outs and gave up 6 runs. Tyler Walker relieved him and promptly gave up four runs, but settled down and went a total of 3 innings. From the 6th inning on, the bullpen only gave up 2 hits and no runs.

Ryan Zimmerman hit a home run and Ian Desmond and Cristian Guzman both drove in runs to make the final score 10-4, Rockies.
