Nationals prospect Stephen Strasburg stays grounded as major league debut nears – The Post
I just finished reading this article from yesterday’s paper about Stephen Strasburg. While the debut of Strasburg is certainly delayed by the collective bargaining agreement’s rules about major league service time, the Washington Nationals process seems fairly reasonable. Strasburg, comes off as humble and embarrassed by all of the attention that he is generating. The franchise seems a bit overprotective with him and the media (Patriot-News), but the volume of requests is clearly a problem that has to be addressed some way. He seems to be taking in the experience pretty well.

Strasburg is on the mound tonight for the AAA Syracuse Chiefs against the Toledo Mud Hens. MASN will have the telecast at 7 p.m.

Tickets for the June 4 game against the Cincinnati Reds, expected to be the Nationals Park debut of Strasburg are being gobbled up.
