Erica and I are going to tomorrow night’s Redskins vs. Steelers game with Fritz and Sam. While I could care less about either team, it is an opportunity for Sam (and to a lesser extent, Erica) to see his favorite team and Fritz has always wanted to go to a Redskins game and I am along for the ride.
For me, the big question is what to wear tomorrow night. My antipathy towards the Redskins is well-known — no turning back now and who would want to adopt an organization run by Dan Snyder anyway? So, here are my choices:
Nats jersey
I almost feel like I am betraying the Nats though, since they are playing the same night. It would be weird wearing their colors past the Stadium-Armory station.Cowboys jersey
I was a die-hard Cowboys fan for about 15 years, but as I got more into Penn State, the Cowboys seemed much less interesting. Actually, the NFL as a whole seemed a lot less interesting. The upside/downside of this is that I would be a hated rival of fans for either team.Ravens jersey
Back when the Ravens were fairly new, I scored a #10 Zier jersey at Modell’s for $5. I am not sure I have ever worn it though. Like the Cowboys, this would be hated by either side. Of course it is Baltimore and given my feelings Angelo$, I find that it would be hard to support anything remotely connected to a city that nutures the devil.Penn State jersey

At the same time my bought the Ravens jersey, I also bought an orange Bucs jersey sans numerals. I wore it to a Redskins preseason game before when they played the Dolphins.
