7 days until kickoff
Every year, there is the first day that it feels like football. Last year, it came really early, on August 6. Yesterday morning, walking to my car, the air was full of with the sights, sounds, smells, and feel of early autumn. At last, I knew I was ready to return to the alma mater to see them play football. It is just a week away.
When I got to work, I mentioned to a co-worker that I felt football season and we started talking about it and all things that come with it, especially tailgating. He agreed that he was ready too.
The CDT has their first big preview of the season today. They also report that Paterno had an informal chat session that covered topics not related to Dan Connor. Speaking of Connor, he is practicing with the squad, but has lost his first team spot. So, at worst, I think he misses the first game.
