Smulyan discusses his plans – The Wash. Times
Emmis Broadcasting CEO Jeff Smulyan visited The Wash. Times yesterday. He thinks his broadcasting experience can get the Nationals a better MASN deal, which I find doubtful.
Also, before the jump, a local partner in the Smulyan bid says, “he’s committed to this community. We are a strong group of local investors. This is not a carpetbagger coming in here.”
