Ticket prices for Nats going up – The Wash. Times
The Nats are going to a “premium pricing” model for games against the Cubs, Yankees, and Baltimore. They are also going to raise prices in some sections for the whole season. Boo!

More on the impasse between D.C. and MLB on the lease. I put this one squarely on MLB, the District is in the right on this one. Says Jack Evans (D-Ward 2):
They were going to do it by Opening Day, then by the Fourth of July, by the All-Star Game, the playoffs, during the World Series, next week at the owners’ meeting and now they say before Thanksgiving.

Despite the lease problems, the District is moving forward trying to acquire land around the ballpark “that would feature restaurants, stores, commercial buildings and residential units.”
