Nationals Sign M. Anderson

Bad news for folk hero Jamey Carroll, GM Jim Bowden signed IF Marlon Anderson for 2 years (!) yesterday. Anderson was a great pinch hitter last year, leading the league in batting average off the bench.

I want to create a new rule for the Nats. As long as Cristian Guzman draws a paycheck, so should Carroll. The latter plays with and beyond his ability every time he is one the diamond. His .251 BA this season had more to do with sheer will than talent. I want him on my team.
