Ryan Zimmerman was not voted into the All-Star Game (nationals.com) despite the efforts of the Nationals, DC United and the Washington Redskins to get him there.

Conspicuous by their absence — Ted Leonsis’ Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards and Washington Mystics. C’mon Teddy, I though we were going to “raise all boats.” I’m going to send Teddy an indignant e-mail in
bold, red letters.

I guess Zimmerman will get over it by spending four days off on a beach somewhere.
