Um, yay, Alexandria, where I live in the 47th best place for people who meet Money magazine’s criteria. That is the best ranking in Virginia, but below Columbia/Ellicot City, Md. (#2 — The Maryland Bureau Chief and Brad must be thrilled) Gaithersburg (#25) and Rockville (#31). Given that Arlington isn’t ranked, meaning it is apparently lower than Alexandria makes the list seem flawed. Let’s just say that the signs on Alexandria elementary schools that boasted “now accredited!” were not exactly inspiring in 2007. I’m hoping to move before my son reaches school age. Oh and John McCain’s brother thinks were commies.
Five years ago my hometown of Vienna was ranked #4 but isn’t on the list anymore and it hasn’t changed that much since then, probably for the better too. So, this list means very little, but I’m blogging about it anyway.
So does, Chris Cooley come to the parade or something?
