White House On Deck for Baseball Metro Stop – WTOP
The President allocated $20 million allocated in the District’s budget for Navy Yard Metro expansion, which was essentially an unfunded mandate tied to the ballpark before now. One hurdle has been cleared, but I would not be surprised if another one appears tomorrow. I don’t expect the lease vote to happen tomorrow. By the way, The Post’s David Nakamura chatted today on the ballpark. I don’t think there is anything in it that will be new to regular WWN readers.
