Penn State and Navy To Renew Gridiron Series in 2012 – Intercollegiate Athletics
Penn State just added Navy to its 2012 football season schedule. The Nittany Lions will host the Midshipmen on Sept. 15, 2012 at Beaver Stadium.

I am really pleased with this announcement, the two programs played each other regularly in the 1960s and 1970s. Navy is good quality opponent that is not a gimmie game too. This is a big improvement over the typical MACrifices they often play in non-conference home games.

How about a return trip Penn State? Maybe at FedEx Field? Please, pretty please.

Penn State also hosts Temple and head to Charlottesville to play Virginia that non-conference season. I think the final non-con game will probably be a cupcake.
