More on Sammy Sosa, who is now leaning towards retirement because not even Jim Bowden wants to sign him. I wish I could believe this is the last we will hear about Sosa coming from Bowden. I just don’t trust the man.

Please forgive me if Mayor Anthony William’s confidence is not making me feel any better about MLB approving the lease. Whenever he is confident, bad things tend to happen. I often wonder if he is basing his confidence on the way he wants things to be, rather than on what is actually going on in the real world. His prognostication is somewhere in the Jim Williams/Will Carroll territory I am afraid.
